Default Ok here is another million answer thread

Ok I have been trying to decide of some exhausts. I dont want something super loud but I want some noise. I would go as loud as I could get but the cops are hardballs around here on that stuff. So I was thinking about Flowmaster Super 40s but then Iheard the Pipes Violators with a X-pipe and you always need to consider Magnaflows to. I just want to know because this is mostly oppion I know but I wanted some of you guys oppions. Especially on the Dual flows with a x-pipe because I havent heard but one set of 40's on our body style V6. I am open to other suggestions but keep in mind that I will eventually get headers and a CAI so that will make it louder I dont know how much thought.

Thanks for the help

Ok well. I have always thought that the Pipes sound good onclips but maybe its just the clips. I want a throaty should with a little racey sound on the top end so I figure the Xpipe with the Flowmaster Super 40s because they have a good throaty sound. Then maybe a Hpipe with the Magnaflow so they will have good throaty sound and the racey sound up top.

yeah i mean i havent ever really seen the flowmasters in person but i would imagine they sound a lot deeper and "throatier", im not a big fan of the magnaflows on a mustang, just wish i would have gone for something different than the violators.

Ok, but I heard you sound clips and they sounded pretty rough. And arent the FRPP exhausts, Borlas causeI dont think they sound very good at all, I am not downing your choice it just they sound to much like a Indy car for me I want more of a Muscle Car sound

I agree, but believe me it is hard to catch the deep sound via a small video camera. The FRPP mufflers are Borla, and after 1 day they are getting deeper and deeper. I will take another video of it this weekend so you can hear, but they sound awesome. So far and from other clips the FRPP have the deepest sound from any I have heard. Not to mention the quality is exceptional.
