I'm 18 and i had no clue how to install gears let alone how to remove the rear axle assembly from my car. After reading a lot of articles and borrowing a dial caliper and micrometer, i set up my gears perfectly and saved myself $400.

Congrats! Learning about how to make mods is what most of us are here for. You should write up a technical How-To thread on it.

. I'm 18 too... and even if I am all that completely incompetentI would seek help! Not everyone on these forums lacks knowledge - and besides, how are you supposed to learn if you don't even try, right? trust me, I've got help to assist me, since I'll surely want to do it right.
