Default Installed 4.10s & T-Lok last night!

Out with the 3.31 one wheel wonder in with the 4.10 T-Lok. Got it all back together about 10pm last night.

What a huge improvment! At part throttle there is no real noticable change but at 3/4+ throttle it's wheels spinning, tires chirping, quickly reving thru the gears fun!

It's going to be a long 36 days before the race track opens [sm=bounceybounce.gif]

Were running a tire spinning 14.8 with the 3.31 open rear. I'm hoping for low 14's but the track can be very humbling.

That's what I want to do with mine I have an automatic too. I was going to go with a 3:73 gear. Is there a reason you chose 4:10. Whatmake gear and t-lock did you get?

Went with 4.10s because of the gearing in our trannys plus going from a 3.31 to 3.73 isn't that big of a change. Plus my wife (It's her car) wanted more power down in the 0-60mph range.

The gears & T-Lok are a mintOEM set from the junk yard. ($50)

I have heard otherwise. Supposedly our cars adapt to 4.10's better than a GT due to the power band.

From what I'm getting from others, I think that you are right. I've got the 3:73s and I find myself wishing for a little lower gear. I think that the 3:90 would be just about perfect. I wasn't quite ready to go with 4:11s because I still need to drive it on the highway and I don't think that I want it running such high r's. I'm hoping to go with FI one of these days and from what I understand, from those that have already done it, 3:73swork good for that.
