Dual Exhaust for v6
Right now my exhaust is single with a flowmaster muffler, Im wanting to put dual exhaust on it.
i want it to sound deep low and throaty and somewhat loudbut not obnoxious and not crackly
what kind of exhaust system should i get to get that sort of tone?

RE: Dual Exhaust for v6
well... I say go with the JBA exhaust system - the h-pipe supposedly has a lower pitched sound/tone compared to the x-pipe. I have yet to make an in-person comparison of the two, but when I do, I'll let you know for sure lol.
I might just be a little biased towards the h-pipe system though
My JBA Midpipes with GT Takeoff Mufflers are loud enough to get some attention, but they don't drone and won't drown out my skipper 500 system when cruising.

Never heard an "H" on our V6s yet either.
I have an "X" on mine with the Pypes Street Pros.

Love my Pypes but may be a little loud for what you are looking for.

Welcome to MF! Read through some of the exhaust posts on here, there is alot of feedback and discussion. I recommend the FRPP V6 dual exhaust kit, highest quality and great look & sound!

I wanted to keep the same mean, deep sound the Flowmaster has in the low RPMs, so I thought about just getting dual Flowmasters (with an H-pipe), but they're kind of cheap quality and don't sound that great in the higher RPM (as I'm sure you've noticed with your single), so for an extra $200 or so I went with the Stingers.
Still nice and low and mean, but they sound better up-top and they're much higher quality. For the bit of price difference, I figured it was a no-brainer. You only need to buy dual exhaust once, may as well just go for it and buy the highest possible quality.
This isn't my car (my duals are sitting in the basement right now waiting for the nice weather), but here are some sound clips:

For a pipe I went with a JBA H-pipe. No one locally could custom fabricate the pipes for me, so I had no choice to buy a kit, and (supposedly) the H-pipe provides a deeper tone than the X-pipe, which I've been told is a bit more raspy (exactly what I didn't want.)
My set-up ended up being kind of expensive, but like I said, you only have to do it once, may as well do it right.

Don't have them weld your pipes. Just clamp them.
This way you can adjust them (nobody installs things correctly the first time) or replace them if they are too loud.
