Hey guys, I havehad my pony for about 2 years now. 2005 v6 auto. Just recently whenI put it in reverse there is a loud clank every now and again, it rolls fine, and it only happens from park to reverse. I've also noticed its not as smooth going between the 2. No other problems though.I have 49K and am about to do a tranny flush...any suggestions on what it may be?

are you on level ground when you do this?
mine makes a little "clank" sound whenever i put in "park" directly from "drive" on my inclined driveway . i dont think much of it since i notice a similar sound on our other autos.
my new method of parking in my driveway is to hold the brake down while still in drive, put it in neutral, apply the parking brake, then put it park. i feel this is less stress on the gears.
