Ive noticed mine (49,000 miles) starting to do that now and then. I therefore have been not skipping 4th. I will also try a different tranny fluid later if it still does it...Good news is I bought 100K extended warranty so its still covered...
(Shhh .....just don't tell ford that I have been using Royal purple synchromax as I will change it to Ford OEM before I take it in if needed....)
