i have a 2007 mustang gt. i want to put 3.73 gears in it. i went to a mustang shop and they told me everything installed for $900. that sounds high to me. how much should it cost me? how much did it cost u?

 

damn that is the highest i ever heard. hope they supply the vasoline and gag rag because you are going to be getting it hard as hell.

 

i kno thats what i though so whats an average price to install them? that included everything tax,shop supply, gear fluid. thats still high though.

 

i would say at least 300 or so less but that is just what i have heard, never really looked into it because i have not bought any yet. i hear about half of that is average. unless you are getting some other componants rebuilt that are around the gears. i forget what i heard but a neighbor had his done for six hundred and that was with getting some other stuff rebuilt but i forgot what it was.
