Default V8 S/C on V6?

I was wondering if anybody knew if there was a way to fit a V8 supercharger (Roush, Whipple, etc.) on a 6? I like the roots/twin screw style, but it sucks that we're only limited to the X-Charger.

Why not just JB Weld 2 extra cylinders on the block?

Jeeezzzz Bomber have ever rode in a 4.0 with X-Charger...? Now this a good question?

Since you are limited to only the X-Charger ROOTS style Blower for your V6, then I would go for one...........

I would hope you checked out Afixer and Mwood on the last So. Cal cruise.............The X-Charger on the 4.0 is wicked fun...........you are under estimating the X-Charger......

Nothing personal......X-Charger Rocks!!!

As far as roots style, yes we are only limited to the X-Charger. But in terms of any other forced induction, there's Vortech, ProCharger, and Turbos.

What are you trying to achieve with the car, in terms of usage and power? Trying to 'make something fit' in not generally easy or good to do, depending how far off the fit is.
There's plenty of turbo options that should give you all the power you can handle in a v6, and the centri superchargers are very reasonable, too (vortech and proleakers).

While I'm very happy with mine, If did a F/I setup again, I'd possibly do a turbo.

Yeah, I met up with Martin (MWood) a few months back so I could check out the X. I went for a ride, and even though I wasn't driving, I had a grin from hell like I was LOL. I saw the new edge with the M112, but I was wondering if any S197 6's had done it, and if they were successful or not. I want to go turbo, but I'm up in the air on whether I want single or twin.

3.8 is an essex motor not a calogne, wont work, completely different.

xcharger is your only option unless you can figure out how to use a whipple with the kit (i have seen it once but i cant recall where)
