spark plug removal
I just removed my sparkplugs.
They had rust on the threads and were hard to get out.
I know the GT's had an issue, but haven't heard anything about the V6's.
Has anyone had this issue?

Hmm... I didn't think anything rusted in AZ?
Just be sure to apply a little anti-seize compound to the new spark plug threads & you won't have any further problem with them; the sixxers don't have the same spark plug issues as the V8 - totally different designs.

Took it for a short spin this morning.
Sounded better, not sure about improvements yet.
I did notice my MPG had dropped lately so I decided to check out the plugs.
Nice white or tan insulators.
Nice sharp electrodes and ground terminals.
Those plugs had a lot of more good miles on them.
All they do is spark the fuel mixture and if they
are not burned up in the electrode or ground terminal
area, they are still sparking as designed. The heat
range looks correct as the insulators are nice and
clean indicating good piston rings.
I would not see you noticing any difference from new plugs
except from some wishful performance changes from all
the time and money that went into the new unneeded plugs.

That's what I thought as well 157db. The manual says the plugs are good for 100,000 miles and I pulled mine at 78,000 (and a lot of passes at the track) and they looked about the same as the original poster's at 25,000 - but since I had them pulled I put new plugs in anyway, except for the one that the porcelain broke. I pulled them again this fall after running nitrous, checked the gap and they were good to go.
