Default Throttle Body

I plan on getting the BBK Cold Air Intake...

Is it worth it to also get the BBK 70mm Throttle Body..

Is it really worth $300.00? How much more Horsepower will I see?

Thanks.

throttle bodies do not do anything. if you plan on going for it get the zabtek throttle body.

+1 I wanted to say that earlier but I forgot the name.

http://www.zabteck.com/moretb.htm

They alter the OEM throttle body for more induction, the gains are minimal but somewhat there and much cheaper/better than that BBK crap.

I am amazed that companies still pawn these off. I have never seen a single dyno that showed ANY improvement...nothing.

there has to be some gain through a larger tb. may not be alot but there has to be because of just more flow. i could be wrong though.

Ok, when I ordered my C&L CAI and DiabloSport tuner package, they included a Helix throttle body. I installed it at the time. Is is worth it to keep it or take it out? IS it hurting anything? Does it make a difference?

Just want to know whether better to keep it installed or remove it, thanks!

(most other threads I have read say it does, well, basically nothing)

It won't help you enough to make it worth it. now if you were f/i, gains on nav's ride show 8 hp with the Zabteck on the X-Charger, but n/a it's just not worth it
