Supercharger and our 4.0's??
I know this is probably a very dumb question but I see 4.0's on here with superchargers in them... How do we get one installed on our car because on americanmuscle.com they only have superchargers available for GT's and I was under the understanding that they are different sizes(4.0 and 4.6).....

x-charger puts out about 335 hp 400 hp on the 'beta' intercooled version

Video from TV featuring it the installation^
It's about 4.9 grand installed depending on if it's on sale or not, and FYI American Muscle is like a WalMart of mustang aftermarket companies. You wouldn't get an Armani suit there.

Try shopping at that website sometime^

Here you go:
All running equivalent safe levels of boost, except for the turbo who's waste gate is kicking in too late to be the best equivalent. All intercooled. All costing $4500
Yellow = Twin Screw
Black = Centri
Red = Turbo
An extra peice of information: a centrifugal supercharger sounds exactly the same as a internally vented turbo, this means that based on comparison there is no conceivable reason to ever get a centri.
This information also demonstrates a reason for buying a supercharger over a turbo (besides reliability tunability and drivability for the supercharger). That reason is below 3500 rpm the supercharger makes 30% more horsepower and above that the turbo makes 20% more.
