I originally installed a K&N dropin. If there was any improvment, definatly couldn't feel it. The best improvment is you dont have to keep buying new filters, just clean and oil it. I gave mine away and installed a CAI with a tune. Whenever I need to take it to the dealer, i pop the airbox back in and reflash back to factory. Warrenty safe
