Default Changing 2005 v6 from auto to manual?...

I really want a manual trans but don't know how much that would cost or would it be such much of a hassle that it is stupid to think about?

There have been quite a few threads about this. It's not just the tranny. There are PCM changes that have to be made in addition to some other electronic changes that need to be made. The threads pretty much agreed that a trade-in would be the better choice..

Its easier to go from a manual to an automatic. There is a lot of changes that would need to be made. master/slave cylinder install, clutch peddle, trans etc. It would be more cost effective to trade to a stick car.
