Default Creative ways to clamp 2.5" to 2" pipe

Just had a dual conversion installed on my 4.0. While we were able to band-clamp the intermediate pipes to the x-pipe w/o an issue, we were uable to really clamp the x-pipe to the cat pipes. We put 2.25 pipe on the cat pipe ends to fill the gap internally, and then installed a 2.25/2.5" clamp over the joint. There's still a slight leak coming from it.

Does anyone know if such a clamp exists (2.5"->2"), or have a creative way of sealing the connection? (Liquid gasket compound?)

Thanks

There is a 2.5 to 2.25 clamp. It came with the FRPP dual exhaust kit and works really well. Not sure where to get it though.

The pipe is like this

CATS--2" pipe--2.25 sleeve--2.5 xpipe

The 2.25 almost fills the inner diameter gap of the 2.5 pipe, but not completely. That's where we have the tiny leak coming out of the 2.5->2.25 band clamp. It doesn't totally wrap around the 2" pipe behind the 2.25 sleeve.

Yeah, I was gonna say reducers if your not gonna weld...

But then, you need to weld those reducers at one end at least, because if you used clamps everywhere, you'll have Lickeage City.
Hate that.
