Default JBA Coated Shorty Headers on 4.0

What is the difference between the silver ceramic and titanium ceramic headers? Is one better then the other or it just for looks?

one is better at containing the exhaust heat and looks better? that's my guess.

FYI & JMO... SS headers are completely sufficient for our engines. although there is a reason for ceramic coating, i HIGHLY doubt it makes a difference on our cars. makes much more sense for a HIGH output engine that's producing 400hp+ (much more engine/exhaust heat). i came to that realization thanks to forum member opinions and picked up some SS instead of forking out a lot more cash for the coated set. all i did was spray paint my headers with high temp silver ceramic paint for better looks and now i'm as pleased as can be. engine bay doesn't feel any warmer than with stock manifold.

Yea I hear you, I actually did some looking into it and the silver ceramic can withstand 1500 degrees heat while the titanium can take 1600 degrees. I do plan on supercharging so thats why I am getting coated ones.
