Default just a little more hp

i'm new to the forum. i have a 4.0 soc in a ranger pu , is this the same engine as in the mustang? i need a little more power to pull trailers and i can use some help with advice on performance items. i've added cold air intake and a larger exhoust. will a performance chip help and what kind? hopen i did this right.

Well, did you check out that link I posted? Lots of info there.

Nice supercharger setups for the Ranger 4.0, made by the same company that does the Mustang V6 setups.

I would take Mr. Ugly's advise and check out the Explorer forums. While both Explorer and Mustang may share the same 4.0 engine, some other modifications may be different. Best to get advice from those guys who have done it before.
