Do you know if a GT take-off muffler from previous years will fit into a 2010 V6?

NTO has a great deal on the GT mufflers: http://www.kmpaccessories.com/20mugt5spmae.html

Looks like there's some fitment issues between 2010 and 05-09 Stangs.

$529 for CAI/Tune from AM/Bama with free tunes for life from bama
$457 for TLock and 4.10 gear and installation pkg from Stangmods
$2-400 for install of gears and locking diff.

best mods you can do short of Forced Induction!!

I highly recommend the CAI/Tune combo! You won't gain the 300HP like you are wanting, however, it makes a instant increase in power and makes the Stang a lot more enjoyable to drive!
Happy modding!

If I buy this pair, could I install one of them on my V6 and save the other one until I decide to go dual? Are they any good? Better than stock?

Yes, Yes and Yes

You can find cheaper deals on ebay/craigslist. Make sure you find a pair from a manual GT since they are louder

Ok, once a get the GT takeoff mufflers, what else would I need to go dual? Sorry so many questions, but I'm new to all this.

Either an H or an X Pipe, hangers and mid-pipes

You could look at these for reference:

http://www.americanmuscle.com/ford-v...aust-0509.html

The kits are somewhat pricey, but you could do what I did and go to a exhaust shop and have them custom fab an H or X Pipe. Most times it's a cheaper alternative to buying a kit

You could also check this out, some good info

Thanks alec231236 for all your help. The members of this forum are great and there is a lot of knowledge here.
Just another question. If I just replace my stock muffler with a GT takeoff, what will I get, just better sound?
