I thought the sugar in gas tank was a myth aswell but apparently not! I don't see why the OP would make a story up like this though.

I'd be pi$$ed if somebody did that to my mustang. Glad to hear you got it worked out and I hope you don't have any more problems. Probably some neighborhood punk kid.

Here we are a bit more than 5 years later and I still have the Mustang. Since I've last posted I've added some cosmetics such as GT matching rockers, and a painted to match lower front spoiler (although the paint shop did a crappy job and it needs redone) and got the windows tinted. Other than replacing the tires, alternator and battery I haven't had any problems. It's my "Fun car" so she sits covered in the garage most of the time. I just ordered a stock set of GT Silver Bullit rims from NTO and I hope to upgrade the exhaust, add a GT rear bumper (or something that allows for duels) and get that front piece repainted.

After a hiatus from the Mustang Forum I have returned to research my options so I'll be haunting the Exhaust threads, posts on body changes for the v6 to accommodate the duels, and what tires to put on the rims when they arrive.
