Lightbulb Max turbo boost?

Aight guys, does anyone know how much power a stock bottom end can take on a 4.0? I wanna throw a turbo on STONEWALL but I'm not sure how much boost I can run without murdering it.

The 4.0 has a relative small compression rate of 9.7:1. So it can withstand some decent boost, some people I have talked to have run 11 psi and not had any problems, to me that is pushing it, if it was mine I would be right around 8 psi.

tubro 2.8, you're running a stock bottom end with a turbo? I didn't realize the 4.0 could take that much abuse! maybe I didn't give Ford enough credit before lol

I've been running 10 - 12 lbs on my Xcharger since August 2009 and have 153,000 miles on this motor with nothing done other than installing the Xcharger Xtreme kit. No upper or lower engine work, all stock
