I assume you mean that he doesn't need a tune?

I'd be glad to put one of these on the dyno for WOT air/fuel ratio results if you'd like to see. I keep my BS meter low.

Hows about being a little less ambiguous? What info here, in this thread, has been "bad" and what's been "good"? In your opinion? I think the BS meter is strewn across your keyboard, Whitehorse. If you've something worthwhile to provide to the OP then say it. You haven't provided one piece of useful info as have others yet you cast doom and gloom. Put up or shut up.

It's Nuke with another KO! You better bring your game up to speed cause Nuke don't lend time for the rope-a-dope.

Well, I'll back pedal a tad since whitehorse DID provide some relative info in post #2. But still, his subsequent post simply raised the hair on the back of my neck...

It is definitely worth getting a custom tune!
I drove around with my airaid CAI with out a tune for several months and felt minimal performance gain.
Once you upload the custom tune, it will be a night and day difference and you won't be dissapointed.
DO IT!!!!

Its good to hear that there is someone else who has the AirRaid and has gotten a tune with it. Can't wait to get my tune, Have been running the Airraid for 1.5 years now, and truthfully the only time i notice a difference is this time of year when its colder air anyways.

Nuke is right, though...

When it comes down to it the BBK intake needs a tune. I've seen in the 16:1 air/fuel ratio range at wide-open-throttle with that intake on S197's. Not just one car, but multiple vehicles with similar results. High 15s-mid 16's air/fuel ratio.

This guy might have a motive for why he doesn't want you to listen... just sayin.

Very true! Since the weather has cooled down a good bit, especially in the mornings, I can feel a huge difference in throttle response. I highly recommend getting a custom tune, you won't be dissapointed!!!

What is up to you to decide what constitutes an acceptable post and what doesn't? I really couldn't care less what you think Nuke. If I was talking about someone specific on this thread I would have just called them out on it. I was speaking in general. Amwilson is new to the forum with only 7 posts and that is why I said "just be careful" becuase yes there are some posts on this forum that are nonsense and we all know it. Just like any forum. Get over it.
