Default One piece aluminium driveshaft

Looking at the Shaftmasters website there's only 50$ difference between the 3.5" and the 4" inch model. Any downside of going with the 3.5" ?

I saw that there was issue with lowered V8 cars and 4.0" but what about sixers?

Thanks,

I have the 4" driveshaft on my car and the rear is lowered a little over an inch (front is stock height). I haven't had any issues with my Shaftmasters at all. Great product, best price you will find, and great customer service.

Call them and discuss your options with them.

Have the shaftmasters 4", for 4 years now, with no issues. I'm lowered about 1" and have no clearance issues. As long as you dont lower too much, the 4" will be fine. If in doubt, go for the 3.5.

You can't go wrong.

My question was more to find out if there was some downside to a 3.5 for example more prone to vibration, more noise, etc..

Thanks,

I haven't heard any complaints about the 3.5" shaft from the guys I know who have one.

The difference in the feel of the car once you put the new shaft on is something you have to experience. When I put mine on the car felt "lighter" is the only way I can describe it, and it accelerated so much quicker that I was at 85mph before I realized it.

Been on the fence for a while.
Just pulled the trigger on the 4" Shaftmasters.
This is my final mod.
