Default Hurst Short Throw

For those gentlemen whi have had the hurst-

How long does installation take? Is it necessary to lift the car or can I do this at home?

Also, regarding the reported rattle problems, is there a way to fix this or is it simply unavoidable? And how bad is it?

The rattle can be fixed by using the rear bushing from the stock shifter, and use loktite on the bolts when installing the new shifter. no vibrations! easy enough to do in your driveway and should take an hour.

The rattle i had was from the bolts that mount the shifter arm(chrome stick). I just used a ton of thread tape near the head of the bolts that went through the arm and not on the ends which thread to the shifter and I have not rattles. It is an easy install just have to get car high enough to lay under and you're good.
