Getting to 15 psi on the Xcharger will be tough - you can get a smaller pulley but you will be spinning the blower beyond its capacity. And 400 RWHP will be a stretch.

So that leads my to my current predicament of wanting to up the HP of my pony without spending a huge amount of money on something that I'll just throw away later. Ive looked at the X alot, and it looks like they use a no tune required and cheap K&N CAI.
Explorer Express used a different intake that was for another Ford product (can't remember what now) initially. It had to clear a couple of spots so they used the stock rubber intake from Ford that gave the correct transitions; since it is used on a forced induction system I wouldn't call it a "no tune required" intake though. But now they have a new smooth aluminum intake. The filter itself is a K&N.

Some have modified other CAI set ups, including the Ford Racing one, to work with the Xcharger.

With a supercharger though you don't want an underdrive pulley. That just means you will spin the blower slower as well since it is part of the belt drive system.

Just out of curiosity why would you supercharge a v6? There is an 8 for that high power kinda stuff and you will get WAY more from it. I understand there is a price difference but that just means you go a few years older.

And there is the unique factor - I get a lot of comments after beating a V8 at the track. Anyone can do a 12 second V8 - but not everyone can do, or beat, a 12 second V6. I've had several people come up after a race and look under the hood and say "no wonder you beat me, you have a supercharger" and then when they realize it is a 6 the next words are "oh crap, I just got my *** handed to me by a 6"

I guess thats true. A decent blower is EXPENSIVE! And all of the mods needed to keep it running well with said blower? Fuggetaboutit. Maybe I'm just too cheap. Just my opinion.
