Default P.O.S. PYPES !!!

ha ha ha well I just posted on these damn things yesterday and low and behold . . .the driver side came apart between the x and mid pipe !!! the good news is apparently it happened after I parked, bad news is that I was in the city an hour and 20 min. from home.
I noticed it as I was leaving my parking spot because the exhaust was loud, I thought no biggie, its happened before ,till I started moving and I heard something dragging! rut roww !!!!
in the city, paid parking ,busy streets and I have to put this back together . DAMN!!!!
as it turns out I found a parking lot, and got it hooked up again . unlike the stock pipes which has an interlocking system with bumps on the pipes and slots on the couplers, pypes rely on sheer torque of the coupler bolts. but tighten them to much and they break mmmmmm got to love it . so I will anchor the drivers side with a few sheet metal screws like I did with the passenger side. just nightmarish

Sorry to hear man... Having welded exhaust sucks if you ever need to pull the tranny or whatever but damn it saves you from having to deal with that!!!

Mine was welded when I had the clutch/tranny swap done and the shop had to cut it and put clamps in its place!
