How much hp does the v6 gain with a cai and bama tune?

There is a video about the 2011 v6 that shows 22hp ish gains with both ... they make sure to put extra emphasis on the face that they do not compound..

what that means it ... the CAI gives 15ish .. the tune gives 15ish .. both DO NOT give 30 .. so i would say depending on what kind of tune 91 street 93 race exc... you will be looking in the 15-25hp range from both combined.

but the hp gains are really not important when your talking about the tune .. i have a Bama 93 race tune on my 2010 v6 and it is 100% not the same car as i drove off the lot ... you will not be disappointed with a bama tune... the CAI is just icing on the cake..

i would say the best way to go would be tune gears locker and tires will get you really close ...
shy of a shot of juice or forced induction which would get you there no problem .. but your paying A LOT of money to do so ... and you really not running a like stock car anymore ..

The CAI & tune combo on the V6 will yield about 15-20 RWHP, depending on the tune. If you want to outrun a stock GT, you'd better think going FI. NO bolt-ons on a V6 will beat a GT unless the GT driver is a retard.

^^Nuke speaks the truth... Quick fix and probably the cheapest is to run a 75-100 shot of the giggly juice. GL!

The custom tune is about 95% of the performance gain! The CAI helps add a little more HP.

I dynoed with the CAI/tune from BAMA and got 207 at the wheels (93 octane tune). I did not dyno before the CAI/tune so I don't know what the actual stock number was, but most people say it around 180-185 at the wheels. Thats a decent gain.

As mentioned above...if you want to beat an 09 gt, you will need FI or spray. With my Xcharger Xtreme I am putting 330 on the ground.
