Default Window Binding Issue

I have a 2005 mustang v6, when I go to close the door on the drivers side the window goes up and ends up getting caught on the door frame molding. I acts as if there is something wrong with the sensor or latch. Also it does not do this all the time. I took it to a local body shop and they had to call Ford, whom suggested they would flash the door sensors through the computer. Anyone heard of this and know of any easier solutions?

your not talking about the little 1/2" drop down feature when you open the door, and when you close it are you?

is the glass loose and going up in the wrong spot? i had a loose nut on the window track inside the door panel, the glass rattled a little with the window down.

you can try the window re-set trick, hold the window button down, and for 5 sec after the glass is down, then go up and hold the switch again 5 sec after its up all the way. maybe do that a couple times. it re sets the travel.

will try that and yes I am talking about the 1/2" drop down feature thingy. what would happen is I would open the door, it would drop down and then go back up and when I went to close the door BOOM! hit the frame

I have this issue sometimes and re-resetting them like that resolves it.
