factory navigation install
Hey guys,
I have a 2009 v6 that didn't come with navigation and I recently purchased a factory navigation system. Now my car did come with the shaker 500 with satellite radio. Do I still need to go and purchase a gps antenna to plug into the navigation system or is the little satellite radio antenna on the trunk the same thing?
Thanks

Factory satellite radio antenna = just that, no dual or better purpose wiring to it. You could, if you felt ambitious, replace the factory one that has multiple contained antennas and hookups, but I doubt you'd wish to go through all that.
Thanks for the info. And no, id rather just mount one under the dash. Now to just find one affordable. Does anybody know if one off beay that's the the oem would work? Much cheaper than the factory and have same plug
