Yep, mine too.
There is a TSB and re-engineered replacement parts
to fix that. And yes, water could be getting in there
but it would end up on your carpet, not your door sills...

BTW, your door sills are considered to be OUTSIDE of the sealed cabin area by design...
Wetness there is totally normal. Thats where the water is coming from.
Remember, water on the rim is too deep to cross...
