Default clutch type?

23k miles and my clutch is slipping, so i was wondering what kind of clutch does my car have in it?

hydraulic?

Right, it uses a hydraulic release bearing.

Yep, it's a hydraulic clutch. My slave cylinder/throw out bearing went out at 65K miles.

Ok thanks. What are the signs of the slave cylinder going bad?

I had a 2 inch dead spot at the top of the clutch pedal and I had to FORCE the shifter into any gear. I thought I was going to damage the transmission driving it to the shop. The clutch seemed to be strong, once it was in gear.
