06 heater core
I've been attempting to replace my heater core and so far it has been less than fun. I'd rather replace the engine again(I've done that). So far I'm just shy of pulling the entire dash its mostly unbolted and if it would've came out on the first couple of tugs it would be out. If anyone can she'd some light before I break out the sawsall I'd appreciate it.

Review the diagrams and make sure it's all disconnected.
Heater cores are never fun. Did one way back in high school (shop) and never again. There are no easy ones either. All of the ones I know require removal of the dash...
You may have to disconnect the steering shaft if you haven't already? That is the one thing most people try to avoid doing.
Good luck.

If you're considering this you better be committed its not for the weak! part of any challenge is knowing the out come. So knowing that yes, you do have to completely remove the whole dash to access the unit should get you started in the right direction.
