v6 4.0 Exhaust Delete + Headers?
I have an 07 v6. I customized the exhaust 2 years ago by deleting the mufflers, removing the stock y-pipe, and replacing it with a stock GT H-pipe with 12" tips. So what I have are the stock manifolds that are cut just behind the cats, the H-pipe (2.5") is sleeved over that and band-clamped, then 2.5" mid-pipes over the axle to 2.5" tips (no mufflers). This sounds pretty good on the v6 - very happy with the sound really.
My wife (god bless her) asked a co-worker's mechanic husband about what gift to get me and he reccomended (and she bought) v6 long tube headers.
This begs the new question - if i remove the stock cats/manifolds and put on the LT headers with my muffler delete setup, will this be bad? I have tuner so i can clear the 02 sensor codes, but I don't know if its bad to have headers, no cats, and muffler deletes?

From what I've heard, it won't sound very good. But other than that, what would be "bad"?
BTW, I'm not sure you yourself can turn off the O2 sensors with the handheld tuner. I believe that you'll need someone to rewrite your tune.
