AT harsh reverse

AT harsh reverse
Almost every time I put AT to R I notice harsh reverse and sometimes not completely smooth shifting (usually when accelarating under low rpm).
But it is very interseting that after I reset the computer (disconnect the battery for few minutes), AT will shift perfect for around 50 - 100 miles. And after that, it'll again start to make not so smooth shifting and harsh reverse. In this way I guess that AT generally is OK and it would also be strange that worn or low level of ATF is causing the problem.
I've searched the web and it says that in 95% of cases the solenoid body replacement will fix the problem.
Any experience with this?

I changed the ATF and AT shifts better now (maybe not perfect, but definitively better... or maybe I expect too much from AT ), so I guess that the ATF was worn out and also the ATF level was probably incorrect. I doubt it was ever changed before... I only changed 5 litres from pan and filter at 55.000 miles (don't know if 1st owner changed it) and now - at 93.000 miles I did the complete flush of AT system.
I've also noticed a little bit better gas mileage with last tank, but I guess it should be tested a little bit more to completely confirm this.
