Default PCV Valve- when to change?

I've got about 92,000mi on my 4.0 and haven't had the PCV valve changed yet that i know of. What is the normal mileage intervals that they are changed on this car. Also i called and they are around 90.00$ The ones i usually deal with on Chrysler and Dodges are like 10$. Why so expensive ? lol

Try ROCKAUTO.com. PCVs seem to go forever on newer vehicles. Ours on our '03 and '04 have never been changed. And the '04 is about to hit 100,000 miles.

Never. Unless it stops working.
The 'pcv valve' is very simple on these cars, and really consist more of a vacuum-limiting partial check-ball valve. They are self-lubricated and shouldn't wear out. They are on the passenger-side valve cover, and twist out easily once the small tabs are released that hold it in place (twist to remove).

If someone needs one, I have several good used ones available.

Take it off and spray it inside with carb or TB cleaner. That's it...should last 200K.

I put 203,000 miles on my 2006 and never had to change the PCV so it should be good for a long time.

Owner's service manual says 100K miles. It does not state a max time interval, so just 100K is the recommendation.
