Default New to Mustangs, Having some questions!

Hi guys, I am new to the Mustang world, and would like to ask some questions, if any of you can answer them I would appreciate it! The info is for a 4.0L V6

1) Im planning on buying the Borla 11751 exhaust, but then I saw the Pypes True Dual Exhaust system. But this is going to cost me way more, and the instalation costs are higher and all. I was wondering if anyone knew if these were worth it, or im good with the Borla 11751.

2) I have heard that I can put 4.10 gears to improve my speed, are they good? I dont really know what or where to look for them online. And do I need a t-lok for this?

3) I was thinking of getting the K&N CAI, are there any better?

4) Im buying my body kit from ebay, is there a better online web to do that?

Thanks for the help! Any other advice is apreciated!

2) The 7.5" rear end is weak and has an open differential. So putting the 4.10's in will be tight and getting the power to the ground will be difficult. Much better to swap to an 8.8" rear end for strength and ease of installation. If you find one with 4.10's already it is almost a direct swap - have to swap the pinion flange if it comes from a 2005-10 GT, and if it comes from any 2011-14 Mustang it depends upon the options as to whether you have to swap the pinion flange to fit your driveshaft.

3) Waste of money - any 2005-10 CAI for the 4.0 that "doesn't require a tune" means you made no changes to the car and therefore there is no performance gain - just money spent for "underhood bling" - and most of those end up with problems that a tune is needed anyway. So get a CAI and tuner, but not the K&N. Lots of options out there:

The performance gain with the CAI is in the tune anyway - but with something other than the K&N you change the airflow/intake as well.

There are some sound bites on here and on YouTube of different exhaust options for the V6. I did go with Pypes only because they had everything I needed, however I think Borlas would sound better.

I installed the Pypes setup back in 2007.
With more than 200,000 miles through them they still sound awesome!
Only 1 minor problem was one of the mounting tabs broke off after 100k (due to vibration "at speed") but my shop just welded a piece of metal back in its place.
Sound is a personal preference, I like the Street Pros the best.

PS. They also mellow out with age and get deeper sounding!

I have pypes mid muffler dual exhaust and it sounds great, I have a video of the interior sound.

keep in mind I have other mods on the car so it may sound different than just a setup by it self.

this is where I got my 8.8 rear end, they were reasonable and I drove there to pick it up, not sure where in florida you live but is might be a consideration instead of paying shipping costs.

odd the link is not showing up, go to facebook and search "The Parts Farm"
also http://stores.ebay.com/thepartsfarm

I agree with JimC about the CAI

with body kits just make sure you get an Urethane kit stay away from fiberglass, fiberglass hood is ok though.
