Default gt 500 axle swap

will a 2008 gt500 8.8 be a direct bolt on to a 2007 v6?

i already know about pinion flanges needing to be changed.

but im not sure if a gt500 will bolt up like a regular gt 8.8

If the gear ratio is not the same, you need a tuner to change it.

The 8.8 will have the same mounting points, so any changes will be the drive shat
to the diff. The 2005-2010 V6 Mustangs with a 7.5 rear end use 28 spline rear axles
whereas the 2005-2010 V8 Mustangs with 8.8”rear ends used 31 spline rear axles.
