Is the 2006 4.0 v6 faster than the 2008 3.7 v6?? Can’t decode which to buy

 

There is no 2008 with the 3.7. The 2005-2010 V6 option was the same 4.0.

The 3.7 didn't appear until 2011.

 

The 3.7 has more power than the 4.0, However in the interest of MPG Ford put 2.73 gears in it so it is very slow off the line unless you change to a different gear. I put 3.55's in my 2013 and it was much quicker.
