Default Car feels slower

I have a 2010 V6 mustang that feels MUCH slower than when I got it, it may be my imagination but let me explain. When I got the car I tuned it with the SCT tuner with a 93 octane race tune. After I tried it the first time the shifts would be really hard and the car felt like it would hit 100 really fast. Just recently I got the transmission solenoid fixed and new transmission fluid, now it doesn’t shift as hard and the jump when I step on it FEELS like it’s not jumping as hard as it used to. I realize I’m going to get a lot of “get a GT” “you have a V6 thats why it’s slow” but I’m looking for genuine answers as to why it would feel slower than before???

This all happened after the trans service? My guess would be, hope they filled the trans correctly. Low fluid would give you the issue you have.

who did the repair? Ford? They probably put the car back to the stock tune. It’s the first thing they do with troubleshooting drivetrain or fuel management issues. If you only have the tune and no mods, you wouldn’t have any problems, just the slower feeling from being put back to the stock tune. Also, the transmission take s a few days to relearn it’s mapping.

happened to me. Took it in for a tranmsisson issue. They put it back to stock, and ended up chasing a lean issue that didn’t exist because of my cold air intake that required a tune.

Reload your SCT, (if you can) and you should be fine. I say if you can because, if the place did put you back to stock, the tuner could have you locked out thinking that you are trying to upload to a different car.

Give it a week or so. If it stilll feels different, ask the shop if they uploaded any transmission firmware updates. Some will do that like the dealer.

I called them and they said “all we did was change the solenoid and put new fluid” I can’t imagine just that would make my car feel slower. No engine lights No DTC codes NOTHING. Like I said maybe it’s just my imagination, but I’m not enjoying my car the way I used to. Not in a good spot right now.

How's it feeling now? Transmission had to relearn some stuff since the solenoid pack was replaced.
