Wrench & check engine lights
I have searched this for over a week now before asking.
I have a 2007 V6 automatic, 71,000 miles & battery fully charged & no water leaks
1-i went to car & tried popping trunk with remote.
2- was able to unlock door with remote
3-wrench light & check engine light were both on
4- put key in ignition & turned 1 click, dash goes blank
5- turned to second click dash lights up & cycles theft light goes out
6- tried to start, but nothing not even a click
7- had to have car trucked home as 3 day weekend and no dealers open
8- after 2 days of internet searching & testing I swapped the start relay with horn relay
9- lights out & car starts ok went & bought new relay
so my question is, why would the two light come on if the relay was bad and car just sitting without key in ignition?
