WHEEL PROBLEMS, HELP!
Ok, so I just got my back rims today (customwhelsmarket.com) and their the wrong ones. I have 17x8 in the front with a +24mm offset. The spokes come out to the edge of the wheel, looks just like a stock bullitt. Well I wanted the 18X9s for the back that have the small lip, mabye about an inch (the deep dish is too much for me). Well I got my rims and the 18x9s are identical to the fronts...no lip at all. The offset is also a +24mm with 5.94 backspacing, but the guy on the phone at the wheel place said id have the one inch lip. My question is what size do I need for this? They list two other 18x9 sizes which one has a 5.94 backspacing with a +24mm offset, same as mine now but they have (deep dish) after the description, and the other one has a 6.34 backspacing with a +34mm offset. I just want to know if either of these has the small lip traditionally on a 17x9 or an 18x9 rim.Im really pissed about this, ans im sorry if this is confusing, but any help would be appreciated..
You should stop freaking out. Wait until tommarow, and call you dad and have him measure the backspacing. If your backspacing is 6.94 then the guy is a douche and sent you the wrong rims. If it is 5.94 the your dad is confused and doesn't knwo what you are trying to say. One of those things where he was just saying he knew what you were saying but was really lost. If the rim on you fronts are 8inch wide with 5.89 backspacing and have no lip; then the rims you order for the rear should have a 1.1inch lip. Because your backspacing is the same but your rim width increased by one inch.
