Well guys, I am about to recieve a big promotion for pepsi. I'm 18 and I'll be making around 40K a year. I was planning on bolt-ons because I coulnd't afford a blower, but with this promotion, I'm hoping to buy a supercharger. What would be the best supercharger for the money?? I am really leaning toward a procharger, because it comes with an aftercooler at the same price as the vortech. While a kenne bell is nice, they are really expensive. I'm looking to spend at tops like 4000 on the blower. What do you guys think?

If your lookin for cheap and something that will get the job done, ATI Procharger would be good. But I would seriously be lookin into a KB.

KBs are nice but... a vortech would kill a KB in 1/4 run

U guys think the non-aftercool vortech would be better than an aftercooled procharger?

Why does it have to be the non-aftercooled Vortech? I would say KB first, then ATI Procharger, not sure for third. I know you said nothing over $4,000 and if you really wanna stay under that, I would go with the Procharger.

well 40k is just a start i don't know if i'd call it a big promotion, but i guess you probably were making 20k before that. Congradulations by the way and i with have to say vortech or KB.

40K is alot of dough for a snot-nosed 18 yr old. Live at home, basically no expenses other than the car and insurance and broads. Dude will be stinkin with cash. If you want to do it right, go KB. all boost available all time over like 2000rpm. Plus, you want that whine.

i'm only 22 and i made 65k this year and next year i'll make 100k and 100k would be nice, but even 65k didn't cut it for me just because i already own my own home and three cars, phone bill, direct tv etc. So yes the fact that he lives with mommy and daddy is great because if i still lived with my parents i would have a porsche carrera gt by now.
