i have a 1996 mustang gt. i have removed the engine to replace it with a 2002 gt engine. i was woundering if anyone knew if the engine wire harness from the 1996 will plug into a 2002 ecm. or should i just buy a chip and have it programed. any information you have will help.

wiring and ecu will work fine. but i reccomend a tune when you get a chance.

 

im using my original computer+wiring harness with my 01 4.6 motor
