well i knew it was, but i'm not THAT good. i can't drive the same exact way every time though. same ammount of spin, if any. shifting in the same exact spot each time. i'm just not that good. i don't know many people that can get their same EXACT time even at the strip. i guess this guy is just THAT good.

A TB will not make your car faster. A TB + Plenum will also not make your car faster. I timed my car before and after and there was no gain.
There definatly was a gain w/ my combo, and it definatly was quicker.

I have the 75mm combo and it was a good add.

Sorry to disagree Voodoo, but after my install of performance products TB and Plenum I definately felt a difference, not much, but a difference and the trottle response was better.
One day I will take the combo off and match up the slight irregularities between the TB and plenum and will probably see an even better response.

Sounds like a really scientific test batman...maybe we should just ignore the dyno sheets. [8D]

LOL ,, ha, ha, Got it from my ford dealer, they stock a lot of plates, the manager is a race car addict, they usually have a couple of crate engines in stock on the display floor.

I am glad you guys are getting some use out of my post about TB's and Plenums. Yes the fact is, although the plenum and TB will not make your car much faster (+7 hp and tq), the throttle response is great. Whta everyone means by "An Overkill" is you don't need it. The fact is, more air in and more air out equals more power. A 75mm TB lets more air in, thus more HP. True, it doesn;t help much, but if someone is offering the 75mm for the same price as the 70mm, or a few dollars more, GET THE 75mm. No reason not to. If you are going to spend $300 to $400, you might as well get the most out of it. When I bought mine I did all kinds of online research, and noone's opinion is as strong as the dyno charts. The dyno's clearly show a gain in using the 75 over the 70mm, EVERY TIME, so if you want the most for your buck, get the 75mm. And, NO, a 75mm TB will not damage your engine in any way, it only allows more air to go in. THink about it this way, the bore on the Plenum is 75mm, so why get a TB has a smaller diameter than the plenum.
