Get rid of those bullits and get some skinny rims and tires up front, and mybe some 15 inch rims in the back with some nice DR's. Could shave 50 pounds of rotating mass which is alot. Ditch the spare, add a rear seat delete, and racing seats and your car could be a very good looking daily driver that just lost over 200 pounds.

i have a 97 GT and I rarely have someone in the back seat, and would prefer to not have anyone. Where can these deletes be bought? Can you still throw crap in the back-seat-area ? (for example my books from school)

yea, you can still put stuff in the back seat with them.... i think it takes out like 30lbs when you get rid of it.. not exactly sure.... i think a vendor on the side carries them....

They are perfect for wht you described. I think the back seat is pretty much worthless for adults, but I have a little girl that rides in a car seat, so she sits right behind the passenger seat, making it pretty much impossible for an adult to be comfortable riding with us. I'm not sure where to get them, but I have seen some really nice looking ones with the running pony emblem on them.

I read about 50, but by the time you put a delete back in, you are probably more accurate.

It's just a bunch of bolts that need to be taken out for the seatbacks... It's pretty straight forward..
