Default first time at the track..

got to the track to late.. and only got 3 runs in..

since it was my first itme at the track with this car, and pretty my first rel manuel car... i think i did really good and i was satisfied..

my first run.. didnt know what the hell to do..

spun all of first, half of second, missed 3rd.. pulled a nice 15.5 at 94mph my 60ft was a 2.5

second run, lil/no spin, missed 3rd 2.3 60ft 14.8 @ 95mph

3rd run, lil spin, i ***** footed 3rd (everyone just said get it in gear dont shift fast) 2.289 60ft 14.3 @ 97.98 mph (lil low?)

car is totally stock with a pro50 shifter..
have the stock street tires kuhmos.. or w/e

just put on a JLT intake...throttle body and pelum are on its way..

i think if i had a few more runs, i could of pulled off a 14.0..

all in all, i think i did very good for my first time at the track.. with my first manuel car

Ouch. I'm assuming you drive a NPI GT? Seems to me like you need to relax more when you go to the track. Judging from the missing of gears it looks like you got the first-time jitters....

No, lol, a npi GT won't run mid-low 14s stock.

Have you been to the track MAfia? For the first time.....you can't expect anything crazy. My buddy has been to the track tons of times in his well modded 00GT, and he ran mid-low 14s all night last night....spinning like crazy.

that is very respectable... im actually impressed with that time and trap considering your less than perfect 60'[8D]

figure i was running a 14.5@99 witha 2.22 60' and i had mods

your stock with a worse 60' and pulling a better ET

if you get better tires, and went with some DR's or something, youve nearly achieved 13's already

good job, keep up the nice work

Doh, typo, meant to ask if it was a PIGT. And I have been to the track a few times, but not yet in my Mustang.

Good times bro. I hope I get a chance to go to the track the next time I am home. I'm probably going to go to the 1/8 mile track though. I haven't raced this car yet, so I hope it ends up as good as yours did.
