The tires I have on my GT right now are probably out of your budget but I love them. They are the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3's and they're great. Awesome traction off the line and it's almost impossible to spin them. I've had them on for about 9000 miles and they still look brand new

well... i'd say sumitomo's dont get very good traction at all... but i havent tried any of the other tires out there on the back yet except for some 245/45/r17 BFG G-force sports... which were very good tires for being n/a... now being forced inducted.... the tires sucked but they are also narrow.... the 315's in he back give great side to side movement traction though.. its harder to kick it out in the dry than before. its even alittle harder to kick it out on a turn in the rain which is a good thing. the only bad thing i would say about the tires is they dont hook up... thats my only complaint...

dony have a stang but i heard that these are awsome in wet and dry. but dont last long but if you get the road hazard thing just hit a pohole and they will ruin in some way or an other and send em back for a new tire.

ive got some fulda carat extremos, they were 110 a tire, and for the driving i do there great z rated tires, ive got them on the back and the tread is still really deep and ive smoked em a few times. if your looking for an all around good tire the g force t/a's are excellent, and my friends dad got them for 160 a tire at discount tire

Go with the Avon Tech M550 A/S. They are a GREAT all season tire. Read the reviews on tire rack! I got them for my winter set and they are the best a/s tires I have ever owned. They are 118 I think. Read all the reviews from the different mustang owners on tire rack. You'll be impressed.
