Default S/c vs n/a

I see people on this site with s/c ed cars and naturally aspirated cars. I am just wondering what do you guys get in gas mileage? Also what do you guys think can get more horses the natural route or the s/c route. Lastly which will save me mpg's and get me quicker the n/a route or s/c route?

s/c will probably get you more horses for cheaper.

my friends procharged 02 GT doesn't get bad gas mileage at all.. as long as you stay out of boost..which is hard to do you get the same mileage as before.. so highway trips aren't bad at all

Last I checked an intercooled procharger can get you 400RWHP for 6k all said and done with a good tune.... Code has 14k invested into his car N/A and has 340hp....

my friends procharged mustang runs like low Mid to low 12's in the 1/4.. and he paid 2,300 for the whole kit used from some older guy who sold his GT to get a z06 vette...

a centrifical s/c would be quicker in the 1/4 mile. but the kb would be instant boost but it also costs more. its up to you. but if you are looking for cheap hp, def dont keep it n/a.

Why do people woory so much about gas mileage? I am not flaming anyone, but you either want a high HP performance car or a fuel efficient car.

Yea ^^

And to tell you the truth, with the exception of a few mods and I guess PA's, a lot of the mods that you are adding to your car are increasing gas milage believe it or not.

Unlike that kid who works for pepsi i dont make 40K an yr so this is my dd and paying here in pa 2.30 a gallon on reg now with the super it will be premium so 2.50 thats 38 .50 an tank 15.4 gallon tank and how i drive i fill up once a week i dont beat my car. Well not a majority of the time i like pushin out first and shiftin into second hard on occasions. Now 38.50 times 4 times a week is 154 a week and this is gettin 230 miles or so on an tank.

so 317 an month for the car
250 am month for insurance
154 for gas if i keep the same milage as stock with fuel saving or good choices in aftermarket components if possible

721 a month for my car alone

Its kinda like you people talking about well i like this supercharger it gets me fast and is cheaper ie the vortech opposed to the kb

And since i am going the rich gauty way for my supercharger i want to keep some things respectable esp when i am 19 driving an 400 plus hp that cant be my garage car JUST YET.

I will be working for my parents making what that kid who works for pepsi makes around 40000 and more witihn the yr so vroom vroom!! when that day comes and i will also look into the new adrenaline as my dd

awd cobra motor suv truck i like !
