anyone have a dyno run on a 96-98 gt before and after doing the PI head swap?

or have a really close guess on what the power and torque diff. is?

46rwhp

8rwtq

this is before and after. Oh, I also added headers (shorties) and a plenum, so factor those in too. Through an auto tranny.

you won't gain much torque. hp will jump a good 35 rwhp if you just swap the stock heads cam and intake over. and of course, bolt ons will only help the swap make a little more than that.

edit: nvm

theoretically it should at least get you to the 260 crank hp that a pi engine has since they r the same but you have a higher compression ratio so you would get a little more than that but thats in theory. i think acer had done it w/dynos

acer248 dynoed in the 240's i belive, making about 15 rwhp or so more than a stock GT. he had some bolt ons, but i belive he was also untuned.

he also has a stock torque converter and some serious gear

but it really is more than 50 hp
