hey if you can, you can get aftermarket heads and cams and really make some serious power. Steenracing.com sells a whole headswap package, stage 1 and stage 2s. I hear they're really good kits.

a little too expensive for me right now.
but newportnews or wherever steenracing is, is really close to me, so i will be taking my car to be dyno'd and possibly tuned this summer after i get what i want done to the car first.
o and don't forget about my timing question

my brother took a 5.4 engine from a truck and put that in his mustang. that was a 2003 engine. the engine was rated for 260 hp. his car put out 247 rwhp and 300 lb tq.

timing is a major issue. you have to reset it all over again when you put the new heads on. do a search on modular depot. there are a couple write-ups on it

i was going to do the head swap, but i just purchased a used 2002 gt engine with 35000 miles. my 1996 engine need to be worked on. no one i my area would touch my engine because it was already out of the car. i cant wait to get my car out this spring.
