The 4v's respond better, people take them over the 460rwhp mark with superchargers often.

Mod the Cobra and kill GT's. It's a better base to start with.

WOOT to that. . . if i had about 20 grand to spare when i was lookin for a stang ida
bought me a 99 or newer cobra and throw a KB blower on it. your car would be fast. . . lol nuff sed

I don't mind the white, its the covert that gets me. We get a lot of rain here and I dont want it to leak since I cant park in a garage.... Think I will have anything to worry about? How much billions of dollars does it cost for a hardtop assuming they make one?

convertibles suck. they make the car uglier and weigh it down. if it was a hardtop then yeah if you can get an even swap then its an obvious chocie. not sure if your insurance would go up with the cobra. i like the look of the GT better than a 99 and 01 cobra but if its whats under the hood that matters then get it.

Ewww the top is gross, but nice car for the price!!!!!!!! Im in the same boat as you man, but in my case i am thinking about going for a 96 white cobra coupe with 50k on the motor for my 96 white GT.
I like Verts on the older stangs Non-PI, but 99+ they really dont get my attention.
Good luck with whatever you do.

agreed with the convertible tan top thing. i dont like convertibles in general...but the tan top is killing me. also...arent convertibles usually a tad more expensive? maybe you could get an even better deal on a hard top. i dunno just a thought.
