RE: Forged Bottom End?
Forged is the term of how parts are produced. It is a long story. Basically, Forging is the process of shaping metals by deforming them with a hammer, a press or rollers. Forged parts are characterized by a fibrous crystal structure. In such structures, the strength increases significantly along the lines of the grain boundary flow. Bottom line forged is better than cast, which are in the GT 4.6 engines....well actually the rods are powdered. Hope you get the idea.

Someone else just recently posted a thread on how much forging the internals would cost...
People were throwing around numbers such as $2500+
